"People, especially children, aren't measured by their IQ. What's important about them is whether they're good or bad, and these children are bad." ~ Alan Bernard

My copy of Under the Dome has just arrived
I'll be starting it later tonight.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
i liked it.
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."
Just finished No Country For Old Men.
I am either going to start 'The Road', which I have, or 'Under the Dome' which I do not yet have.
Sloth Love Chunk
Tons of books about the media since I'm handing a thesis at the end of the year. Interesting but you want some fantasy sometimes...
No kidding, only having time for school books is tough! It's like a treat when you finally get to read what you want to read..
Right now I'm reading "On Writing." Figured it would be appropriate for this month, which also isn't leaving much time for reading, it's all been on the bus to work (rare times I don't have the computer glued to my face).
Just finished a reread of Hearts in Atlantis and am now reading Legacies by F. Paul Wilson.

Under the Dome...
absolutely LOVE it so far.
I'm reading Under the Dome as well!
Under the Dome
I am currently enjoying Needful Things. So far its one of his very best, but then again I say that every time...

It's been a while since reading Needful Things, but I have to say it's probably one of my favorite SK books.
As a student, I'm always reading something. And I won't post them here. But because of that, when I read for pleasure, it takes me months to finish. I am currently A Brief History of Stonehenge by Aubrey Burl since August. Unfortunately, the history isn't as brief as the title implied. But an interesting read if you happen to be into really old rocks. Or just old cultures in general.
On audio book (this moves slightly faster than my normal pleasure reading due to my time in the car) I am reading Song of Susannah
Currently Reading (Pleasure): The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan and The Dark Tower
Currently Reading (School): Done reading, done writing. Helloooo vacation.
Nice. I would like to think of myself as a voracious reader. If I get into a book, it's read. I recently read all the available Song of Ice and Fire books in 6 days. I remember the first time I read The Stand I began it at 3 in the afternoon and finished it at about 5 am. I'm like that.
In college i regularly pulled all nighters, both partying and reading. Only done it about 2 or 3 times since I got married though. I have responsibilites now....
Responsibilities suck.

Under the Dome.
Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.
Con todo mi corazon, por todo de mis dias. And I always will, in this life and into the next.
