I could only vote for one. Predator. It may be my favorite movie of all time (Oops, forgot The Godfather, but that is the 70's). It's not the greatest movie of all time, but it affected me in so many ways (I could tell the story if anyone is interested).

I've never seen any of these.

Why not? Go for it, I love stories about how film affects and changes lives....

I assume at least one other, since it was seconded.

I nominated it and Mae seconded it. It's really a great film. Shame it's not watched more.

I read a little about that movie last night. It seems pretty messed up.

I had never even heard of it. The trailer looks intriguing though. I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere.

This is one group where I haven't seen many of the films. Scarface, Predator and Broadcast News.

I'm surprised The Name of the Rose isn't getting much attention. Such a great and quirky film!

@Mae, this is a good example of what I meant about why it might be good to seed films before the tournament starts. Another group up right now has like 4 or 5 in the top 100, this one has 2 I think and they're both the only ones with double digits.

I believe they are rebooting The Name of the Rose into a TV show.

It was one of those infamous Video Nasties in the UK during the early 80s. Arguably, it has the most artistic merit out of all of those. It's not even really a horror film but a psycho-sexual drama with demented horror elements and pure madness sprinkled throughout. It is a film one never forgets.
