All Hallows Night

Her burning eyes are a shadowed glaze
Lost in the heat but not in the daze.
She dances around her demon fire
Stomping the ground, fanning it higher

She cackled and hooted and she gyrated lewdly
Her words a mumble
Her spell a jumble
Yet somehow she spoke it and did so most shrewdly.

A foram, a poram, and a glatch of ganese.
A smidge of yort
A smadge of jort
And the caps of a darkling’s bony knees!

The stock of boiled ock and the arm of a cur
A shat of ort
A shot of port
And from the tail of a gedron, two scrapings of fur!

A flayer and a prayer and a murbling of vlay
A cinch of zort
A pinch of snort.
And the horrid resonance of lycan’s bray!

I stirs ‘em up and stirs ‘em true
Come hither
Come thither
Cuz I boils it hot and just for you!

Her black fire rises, it twists and it turns
Her mouth goes slack for the power she yearns.
The cauldron spills over with green mist a boil
She stirs faster and faster and pants from the toil

With a screech like a cat she whirls to the pot
Taking her cup
she reaches up
to her cauldron boiling with festering rot.

She dips her cup in the fetid potion
Swirling it round in a circular motion
She pours it on down her wrinkled throat
She coughs and hacks and begins to bloat

Then before one could blink the swelling went down
Her countenance silly
She cackled shrilly
then jumped up and danced, cavorting like a clown.

She picked up her broom, her hat, and her wand
With her red eyes she stared upward and beyond.
With a dark flash of shadow she set herself to flight
To spread terror and mayhem on All Hollows Night
