This should be an interesting poll.
Sloth Love Chunk
bears have voted It, for personal reasons. They are not sure it is better as a novel than The Stand, but it's their favorite.

Hardest poll yet. In the end it had to be The Stand.
RF wins over Pennywise for me in the adversary dept.
M-O-O-N that spells winner!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
And here's a look back at our polls for It vs. The Stand as part of out Constant Reader Awards:

IT to win!!!!!!!!!!
I voted for IT and not really because of Pennywise.
Whilst Pennywise is my absolute favourite antagonist (which would likely come as something of a surprise to most here on the forum) I've voted for The Stand - this was the book that really switched me on to King all those many moons ago
We all float down here!
I couldnt possibly choose between these two novels...
I love them both on the same intensity level with my heart, but my head loves them both for completely different reasons. Its like choosing one child to love over another...
The Stand being my favorite and the better novel got my vote.

Easy. The Stand.
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Funny thing is even though RF is my favorite villain I've only read The Stand once. I've read IT on the other hand at least five times if not more.
