Hmmm.. all of those are bad but I think this Dutch version of 'SALEM'S LOT from the 1970s is the worst:

Dear God! That is the ugliest book cover I've ever seen. If the French Duma Key is worse then this please don't post....

edit: Just looked up a few posts and there it is "The French" cover of "Duma Key". I've never been in marketing or publishing but both of these book covers are terrible.

Oh my... I never wished to own a Dutch book but now I do. I am sure the designer of the cover was a big King fan.
