All very nice. Had to go with #2, but #1 was a close second.
Sloth Love Chunk
I voted for #2 also, in spite of there being no Tower.

Hands down: Image #2. I think it means more without the Tower. It's a throwback to the desolate feeling in the beginning of the series.
Finished The Dark Tower at 6:03AM on December 21, 2009.
The man in black fled across the desert,
and the gunslinger followed.
I like #2's chances at this point for sure.
And I do love the image, I was just playing devil's advocate.

You know ... I keep going back and looking at the Ka one.... that one is cool because it represents what we're doing here with our donations to Haven. Ka Is A Wheel.

path - That's funny! I actually feel the same way about the Gunslinger Born, too.
Thanks for the comments Asylum Witch! Very interesting. Good job.
Btw, Matt, I had intended to submit an entry, but time got away from me. I see that's not a problem though.
It'll take a lot more than words and guns,
A whole lot more than riches and muscle.
The hands of the many must join as one.
And together we'll cross the river.

I would have loved to have seen yours Woofer, I was just coming down to the wire on this whole thing.

Thankee big-big. I think there were some very good choices here. I'm always amazed to see the wide variation in artistic eyes and styles when there is a contest like this or for the Towerpedia. It's just fantastic to have the opportunity to see the world through so many different eyes.

I voted for 2 the other are great too but I love how 2 creates a feeling of endlessness, dessert, cycles, quests etc it's beautiful. I like how the clouds form the path of the beam also. Good work Asylum Witch - love it!
Tower shmower, numero dos is original and captures the essence better than all the others combined!
“I have the heart of a small boy. And I keep it in a jar on my desk.”
Although stated as fact, this smacks of a personal opinion to me. I'm sure you meant it as your opinion only with no offense to the other artists submitting.
Matt, am I eligible to be on the wall yet? I think I have one more payday before the fundraiser closes and, with a bit of luck, I should be able to make another small donation. Breaks my heart I can't afford more.

i voted for 2 but i loved 4 as well. even tho 2 doesn't actually have any wording on it... #4's wording on #2 would be cool (tho maybe different colour)
all of them are awesome tho!
I just read AsylumWitch's post on how she made image 2 - i love how you took a bronze statue and colourized it! that's AWESOME. it looks so real, exactly how i imagine roland ( cuz you can't really see this guy's face).
and it'll look even AWESOMER (not a word, i know) when logo and wording are added! .
i can understand people wanting the tower present, but i can also understand why AsylumWitch didn't put it in (though, imo, it could maybe be way off in the distance - kind of hazy/transparent or something...almost like Roland is dreaming it...or something lol. i dunno, just rambling now!
We still have 4 days here but it looks like we have a clear winner.
I would like to thank everyone involved. The winner will receive...
One (1) entry in every single giveaway next year including the Grand Prize.
The winner will also be entered into this years Grand Prize drawing if not already entered.
Anyone who has been following our fundraiser knows this is a really cool way to win some great King collectibles.
I won't say it's #2 yet but I sure appreciate you creating it AsylumWitch.
