don't fail to make it blank verse... give bears something they would really enjoy...
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)

A true firewasp ninja would never wear such a ridiculous sweater.
There's logic in nonsense.
Give me all the bacon and eggs you have.
I was already hooked when I read The Gunslinger, but this is where he introduced Eddie! Hehehehehehehe, Eddie... So yeah, 5.

This is the most tightly plotted TDT book. I know this sounds unlikely, but I'd almost believe that King started with an outline.
He had far more experience under his belt at this point than he did when he started The Gunslinger, but I fear that he went too far in the direction of popularizing it.
Of course, not all of the mysticism went out with the change in tone. This is the novel which introduced ka to the series. I totally agree, and I don't think that that's all in the reader's mind; my impression is that King was feeling more secure and really in the swing of things when he wrote DT III. (Looka what he says in the SoS appendix.) I agree with that, too. 4 from me.
This book is the reason I fell back in love with Stephen King.

Gunslinger hooked, me. Drawing kept the journey alive. 5
The poll has closed. The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three has earned a FAS (final average score) of 4.672413793 or 93.45%, placing 2nd (runner-up) in this bracket. It will be moving on to Round 2. In 2009, The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three also placed 2nd with a FAS of 4.666666667, so it gained 0.005747126 (+0.12%) this time.
Tis a shame. I like this book, but it wasn't one of my absolute favorites.
