I am now regretting assigning UTD to my "Christmas books" list (along with the new Psalms of Isaak book). :/

I'm currently adding punctuation to all of Cormac McCarthy's books in red ink and then mailing them back to him with a grade.

Wouldn't it be awesome to redline one of his books like that and then take it to a signing?

I'd pay you 50 bucks to do that, Brice - and get a picture of his reaction! Also with the caveat that you tell him that there ARE still people who read 800+ page non-mystery books, of course.

I hope to post there sooner or later, only I am afraid what I can say will sound very much like what Hannah already said there.

I can't say I don't like it, or I can't say I like it; I don't find anything to like or dislike. It's the same sarcastic cud all over again, the same intellectual blah blah blah which makes one wonder how he can separate it into what he for some reason calls "novels". (more later, in the appropriate thread)
