    Okay... since we have rotten weather headed our way here in Pennsylvania... weather was the discussion at lunch...

    ... I've decided a cool band name would be .... Wintery Mix

    A really interesting band name is empire! empire! (i was a lonely estate).
    I'm not quite sure I like it though.

    I also like Modest Mouse and My Morning Jacket.

    One of my town's local bands is called Summer Salvation. I think thats kind of....interesting.

    I saw a sign once advertising both welding and goats, though there was no space between the words. It just said simply Welding Goats.

    This became a band name that me and some of my friends adopted for a little while.

    I also saw a man standing outside a liquor store with a sign that said "Travlin Hunry" yes "Hunry" not Hungry. I have often thought that this would make an interesting band name.

    Reminds me of the scene in Hardcore Logo when the band was making up kewl Canadian band names to pass the time between gigs.
    As far as what makes a good band name, I think it might be the other way around. I think the band give the name a new context.
