Who are you the most similar to from Roland's second ka-tet?
It's not such an easy question...
For my part I need some time to find it out. Right now I have no idea. I know who my favourite is... but...

Roland
Eddie
Susannah
Jake
Father Callahan
Oy
Flagg
Cuthbert
Alain

Roland would have understood.
What about Father Callahan? I just may be a reformed boozer who preaches the gospel of christ on another plane of existence.
"As for gunslingers, Roland," Cuthbert says, "I am here. And we are the last."
When two fit, it makes you think
I got the cute one, my woman
She says, "Lovin's all I bring"
And it's her loving that's a wonderful thing.
Lovin' yes we are, it's such a wonderful thing
When two fit it makes you think
See us both in the black
She lays on me so relaxed.

Yes, and Oy as well.
Sheer devotion and loyality
The kindness of close friends is like a warm blanket
Oy...? Are you serious?
I love Oy...
but still we are humans. Even if sometimes (or often) we don't like it.
Roland would have understood.
Well I am totally serious when I say I've always considered him a full member of their ka-tet. Answering Letti's topic there really is no one in his second ka-tet that I am like. As far as his first ka-tet? I can't say about Jaime DeCurry because we don't know much about him, but the same goes with them too.
"It's his eyes, Roland thought. They were wide and terrible, the eyes of a dragon in human form" - Roland seeing the Crimson King for the first time.
"When the King comes and the Tower falls, sai, all such pretty things as yours will be broken. Then there will be darkness and nothing but the howl of Discordia and the cries of the can toi" - From Song of Susannah
I said Roland. I can be that calculating and cold-hearted.
"People, especially children, aren't measured by their IQ. What's important about them is whether they're good or bad, and these children are bad." ~ Alan Bernard
"You needn't die happy when your day comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from beginning to end and ka is always served." ~ Roland Deschain
Father Callahan is not a full member of the ka-tet. AWESOME character but he is not. Oy is.
Anyway, I guess I would be a mixture of Eddie and Roland. I'll vote Eddie.
<---voted eddie.

I am definitely Father Callahan.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So did I.
We can put Oy into the poll but I don't think that anyone of us could say they are most similar to Oy.
I mean...
Noone can be as good as a dog. But it's a hard topic (and a bit or very philosophical) and it can lead us to many many questions so to sum up we can put Oy into the poll if you wish.
Roland would have understood.
I picked Jack however he isn't my favourite at all. (But I like him a lot.)
Roland would have understood.

Bugger, wrong again
Roland.

Well, at least I'm presistant
I picked Jake too.
From a sense of always feeling i belonged somewhere else, being older than your years but naive and a little insecure at the same time. And retaining your youth...some would say immature...I'd say "Bite me!"
I'm going to vote for Eddie. Watching him come around to what he really is over the span of the books feels similar to what I've done with my life over the past handful of years. I've changed a lot - I wasn't addicted to anything, but in a way I did have a monkey on my back. The fact that he's a smartass and uses his humor in his approach to a lot of things helps, too. Hee.
you're solid gold // i'll see you in hell
