Aren't those the other way around Aaron?
This collecting stuff is a sickness! ~Patrick
No, they are not. Though Wizard and Glass got more votes, The Green Mile averaged a better score...just barely. The scores are below:
The Green Mile - Final Average Score of 4.435897436
Wizard and Glass - Final Average Score of 4.3603603604
So it was like 7/100s of a point.

Okay - I was looking at this info on the first post of this thread

Desperation lost to W&G.............
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know I was thinking the same thing . I really wish Desperation had made it on.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
On the upside, as it currently stands Desperation will get one of the six wildcard slots, so it may not be out just yet.

All the data has been updated in the first two posts of this thread.
I love how the voting has picked up! Thanks to the directors for the poll reminders!!

Added to the first and second posts of this thread designations to the current holders of the six wildcard spots. This is subject to change, as losing books in the brackets yet to close can very well displace some of them if they score higher. But as it stands right now the following books will join the winners and runners-up in Round 2: Misery, The Eyes of the Dragon, Skeleton Crew, Desperation, Nightmares & Dreamscapes, and Firestarter.
Well, you can take Firestarter off of that list. It was just bumped by Bag of Bones.
The Bracket 9 results are in. Winner of the bracket is Hearts in Atlantis and the runner-up is On Writing, which I find a pleasant surprise. It beat out Bag of Bones by a verrry small margin.
The next bracket will go up later today.
Heng Dai
As it well should!
All the data in the first two posts in this thread has been fully updated.
I find this rather surprising as well. Didn't think any of the non-fiction books had a chance (you may remember my original proposal did not take into account the non-fiction). This is cool.
Bracket 10 results are in. The winner of the bracket is Everything's Eventual and the runner-up is Black House.
Heng Dai
Excellent! Hurray for short stories!
The first two posts have been updated accordingly.
Bracket 11 has been tallied. The winner of the bracket is DT7: The Dark Tower and the runner-up is Wolves of the Calla.
Heng Dai
Updated the first two posts with today's closed polls info. Just one more to go!
Looks like ALL the DT stories will continue through to round 2. For those who really don't like that the tale they hate made it through, just put it one the ts list. Enjoy the day and Merry Christmas to those who are reading this on Christmas Day.
Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.

And thus Round 1 closes. Merry Christmas to all!
Awaiting official FAS numbers from Aaron, but with just a glance it looks like Duma Key will be declared the winner, and Just After Sunset the runner-up. Or I could be wrong. I'm sure Aaron will let us know soon enough and Round 2 will commence.
The second post of this thread is being restructured into a comprehensive table. It's a work in progress and it may look off and incomplete for a little while. Sorry about that.
The table looks excellent.

Good work on the table pablo - interesting looking!
Thanks, guys. Yeah, it's a lot prettier this way, with the information much easier to digest and understand.
And it's done. Now we just need the official totals for the last bracket and we should be ready for Round Two.
Unfortunately, I'll be away on a mini-vacation from 1/1 till 1/6, so I'll probably miss the beginning of Round 2...
That is cool as hell Pablo, makes it really easy to read.
