I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. - Edgar Allan Poe
Bunch together a group of people deliberately chosen for strong religious feelings, and you have a practical guarantee of dark morbidities expressed in crime, perversion, and insanity. - H.P. Lovecraft

Maybe in some years Wizard will be your favourite.
Roland would have understood.
I'm working on Monte to finally realize that DT7 is his favorite of the series next to Wolves.
*Rolls the bullet back and forth over my knuckles*

Sorry my friend....but Waste Lands is a tad better.
Letti, I cannot imagine any scenario where Wizard would become my favorite of the series.
Sad.

You're right, DT7 is a sad book.
No, I was saying "sad" as in, its sad that you're not a fan of the Dark Tower series but a fan only a few books within the series.
Sad.

I know what you meant dumbass.
Anyhow, the only thing I think is sad are those people that think the silly love story from Roland's past is the best book of the series.
I don't have an in order of favorites. I would much rather keep reading them in order. I cannot pick any one I like better than another. I can say that The Gunslinger would be at the bottom of the list for me as well though. I did like The Gunslinger, but all the rest were better in my opinion
