I'm guessing there are possibly two reasons King might not promo the book:

• King as he gets older just doesn't want to do the NYC network morning show routine.
• The book is not a full length novel. It has too many stories to present to the audience in 3 minutes

There is a REASON there will be no promotion. I am not at liberty to say but I was told when dicussing some KingCon stuff with his camp last week....
