That's incredible.
I like it! Any idea why Volume 1 is so much longer than Volume 2?

Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Pretty damn cool!
And after I don't know how long Bob can still pull something out of his collection I've never seen or even heard of. Amazing!
Just curious Bob... how many items would you say (guess?) your collection has?
Stephen Youll told me that this was supposed to be the final design but then a committee from big book chains voted to change the dust jacket because they thought it looked too much like a Romance cover. They had already printed some for press kits and when Bantam merged with Random House, everything was destroyed except what was given to Stephen. He has kept these for years and gave 2 to the collector who bought the original art. He decided to sell 4 and keep one. He eventually did the second edition of AGoT thru AFFC (which of course was also not used in the final production due to Walmart).

This thread name makes me think of Pineapple Express. That's all I wanted to say.
Very cool, Rebecca. I have to agree, it does look kind of like some sort of romance novel cover.

I am so fucking jealous reading this thread! The rarest thing I have is a talking dog, but that's nothing compared to this hoard ... love it
I have something coming from Ralph that might be rare. I will post it here and if it gets the seal of approval, it stays, if not it goes.

I'm re-reading Lost Work book and I forgot that the issues of Maine Campus featuring Slade were stolen in the late 80s. Were these ever recovered or surfaced at some point?
