'Tis the season....
I'm sure people will think this is a dumb question, and I feel pretty dumb asking it, but as we have set our pre-lit, incandescent bulb X-mas tree in front of my bookshelf this year, I can't help but worry that the proximity and amount of lights might fade spines of books I don't have in archival Brodarts. Can't find anything on the internet, hoping some of you experts can say if I'm overreacting or I should just find somewhere else to store them for the season. Thanks for any help!

I would think that the overall brief exposure to the xmas bulbs would be nothing to worry about.
FYI, archival Broadart covers probably provide some UV protection, but should not be considered the only method needed to avoid spine fade.

Thanks so much for the answer, you've set my mind at ease and saved me the slight inconvenience of moving them all.
