Nice poem, welcome to the site.
Look for this to be moved to our poetry section.
The kindness of close friends is like a warm blanket
excellent prose there niytemare, i look forward to readin more of your poems
about 4 years ago after i finished the series
its a little corny but it was what i was feeling at the time
My quest
I quest for the dark tower
You say im insane
that this is all there is
but that just cant be
there are other
worlds than these
open your eyes
to the truth right there
in front of you
all things serve the tower
all things follow the beams
and if you dont know what i mean
open your ears
hear the song of the rose
grab your guns
you are now a gunslinger
and we are ka-tet
protect the rose
quest for the tower
follow the beam
and serve ka
those are my goals
those are the things
that haunt my dreams
i want to travel
farther than this world
i want to travel to
the dark tower
niytemare and LastGuns1nger: thank you for posting! The question is: LastGuns1nger, don't you want to start a thread of your own? I mean, then you could post all your DT-related works there. Unless, of course, niytemare meant this thread for everybody who writes W&G poetry.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell, why not post your poems in the same thread? This way it will be easier to compare them. I'm glad my posted prompted someone else to share their ideas.
Thanks for checking it out!
There is artwork to go with this poem, not entirely clear how to post it. I tried following the directions in the sticky, but it wasn't giving me the option.
That is amazing , niytemare!
If you're reading this in 2019, that'd be awesome!
