Hile!

The news that we bring to you today is bittersweet. The domain “www.thedarktower.org“ has been sold, but not to just anyone. The new owner of the domain is actually Stephen King himself (that’s the sweet part). Due to financial stresses and renewed interest in this domain due to the announcement of the upcoming Dark Tower film/television adaptation, the Directors felt that this was the best time to make this transition and we cannot think of anyone more appropriate to purchase the address than the man who brought us all here in the first place. We do not know exactly what his plans are for the domain, but we do know that he does not have any plans on keeping the content.

Which leads us to the future of this message board: Jerome (aka Randall Flagg) And Patrick have agreed to take over the reins. The site will be moving to a new domain name: www.TheDarkTower.org within the week. We have a tentative date for the switch to the new url: Monday, October 4 midnight EST. We are sincerely happy to turn over the leadership of this community to Jerome and Patrick, who have been with this community since the beginning and has been a great asset to site staff. We are so grateful that you all have spent so much time here and believe the site will continue to thrive in its new home.
