Valentine's Day Plans

I just thought it would be neat to see what everyone's doing for Valentine's Day. I know a lot of us (myself included) are pretty cynical about the whole holiday, but it's an excuse to get out and have fun with your special someone, so I figured a lot of cool things would be going on. Also, after the fact you can post any cool surprises you got.

Tomorrow I'm making Matt breakfast: French toast (frozen in a box, but still) with eggs, sausage links and orange pineapple juice.

We're also going out on Sunday, since Saturday is going to be a zoo and he has to work the evening shift.

Yet the fun won't start until 8pm as my girl is working.

On a side note, I am proposing to my g/f tomorrow. We have talked a lot about marriage we have been together 3 years and the only reason I haven't done it sooner is $$$$. TurboTax refund came super quick and I was able to have the ring i've been looking at overnighted!!

I'm super excited. don't know what else to say, think I am kinda in shock still that I am actually gonna do this!

Just went out with Hubby for supper without the kids.

Tomorrow, getting my daughter new glasses, as she broke hers while we were out and buying birthday presents for my twin nephews birthday party on Sunday. Happy Valentines Day to me!

My beau won't be home until Tuesday but last night I went on a Valentine's themed girls night be had couple Jell-O shooters & lots of junk food while watching cheesey movies haha.

Tomorrow night I'm going to the bar with the girl down the street--& I can have more than two drinks because the bar is in walking distance!

I've got no plans other than than to work. We don't have any tradition for valentines day here in norway (even though certain people is pushing hard to make it seem like a big deal, and earn money from the fools who fall for it )

I used to be awful at valentine's day; I just never did anything.
Last year, I bought Jade a PLUNGER for God's sake. (I have a slightly odd sense of humour.)
Yet I imagine if I did nothing, Jade would be pretty upset. It also gives us the excuse to have a day just me and her without any interferance.

I'm actually feeling in the Valentine's spirit this year.

I am sick. Sore throat, congestion, 101.9 - 102.2 fever, fuzzy head, aching. Mr. Woofer is semisick. No idea what we'll do. We have Kung-Fu Hustle and My Name is Bruce to watch, though. Yeah, yeah. I watched the Bruce movie the other night, but can you really have too much of Ashley J. Williams and his BOOMSTICK? Hrm. Might have to watch Army of Darkness, too. I wonder if we could get a to-go order from Pasta Grill...

Thanks, Alisha. I hope you and Jade have a great night. If you were here, I would recommend the restaurant I linked in my first post. The chef personally greets each customer before s/he is seated. And the truffles in their bakery next door are sinfully awesome.

I will be doing a lot of nothing. It is my 26th V-day to celebrate by myself. I don't even care. I think V-day is the worst Hallmark holiday.
