Proof + trade 1st.
That's it for today! I noticed that some of the pics came out a little fuzzy, sorry about that.
Lovely stuff, Michaël.
Beautiful, Michaël. You've got lots of great volumes there!

I bought that DZ proof and traycase from a seller on ABE years ago. The traycase was made by one of his relatives (mother-in-law, maybe). I think they were experimenting and just getting started in making traycases. I thought they did a really good job and you can tell it is one of a kind by the design on the front. Pretty sure it was Dawn Treader Bookshop, or something like that. I'm glad it has a good new home.
Wow Michaël, you've been a busy lad today haven't you ??? I really like the way you've set out the presentation of the proof/ARC's along with the 1st editions, specials, etc - way cool mate !!!
Out of curiosity, do you have both DJ states of the US trade 1st edition Pet Sematary ??
We all float down here!
Hey, you seem familiar. Have I seen you around somewhere? Seriously - I WANT that CARRIE proof!!!! Fantastic
By the way, how do you get your books to stick to the wall like that?
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Thanks, Grant! I used an extremely low-tech approach (put the books on the floor, took photos with my iPhone). I noticed that the later pics got a little fuzzy and that must have been because it got a little cloudy outside). Anyway, because I was limited in terms of technology I thought I'd try something different regarding the presentation of the books. Glad you like it!
I do not own both Pet Sematary states. This is the '1982' DJ state. The other one is not high on my list of priorities (yet).
iPhone pix or not Michaël, the sets look pretty darn good to me mate
We all float down here!
Thank you, Steve! The Carrie proof is pretty nice. It was recently listed on eBay (two times, no bidders, great price) so... I couldn't resist.
And my books (other items in our house as well) have been acting all weird ever since I came back from my visit to the Large Hadron Collider (CERN, Switzerland) a couple of months ago. So far it only seems to affect inanimate objects - my wife and our cat do not float around and stick to horizontal surfaces (yet!).
WOW....really great stuff you've got there! Where on earth did you find some of those proofs?? Never seen a Christine proof for sale!
Thanks, Dez! I got my proofs from all over the place (TDT friends, eBay, ABE, Betts). I can't check it right now but there must be a Christine proof listed on ABE.
I have a bunch more but these are by far the most interesting ones. I used to have more scarce proofs (mostly UK) but I sold them along with 90% of my UK 1st editions. Stupid decision. At least I have something to hunt for again
I'm not going to post everything I own, just the goodies. Next (but not today) are my pre-Carrie publications.
Very nice collection!
WANTED:
Dust jacket for The Shining SNL.
Dust jacket for 25th Anniversary edition of IT, signed, numbered, tray-cased copy.
Signed numbered limited edition of Josh Malerman's Goblin, published by Earthling Publications.
So, it's been a while since I posted anything here! I downsized my collection some, and below you'll see what I have left. I still have a bunch of items for sale that are not shown here (mostly magazines/anthologies) - I will post those in the Classifieds thread.
My current collection mostly consists of US 1st/1st trade editions and proofs, a couple of UK 1sts (the Big Ones plus assorted books with what I think is nice cover art), a small DT collection, a few gift editions, some 1st printing mass-market paperbacks, a few magazines and anthologies, some books about King and his work, and a few miscellaneous items.
I don't expect to add much to my collection in the foreseeable future except trade editions of new books, some of the older mass-market paperbacks and a couple of magazines from the 70s and 80s. And - if they come up for sale - I will be trying to get some of the missing proofs (Viking IT proof, a number of older UK proofs). I'd also like to add some S/L editions to my collection (again, mostly older stuff from the 80s) but it will take a while before I'm going to take that particular plunge.
