I'm reading A Game of Thrones. I'm also on the second hardback of The Walking Dead.
So as it turned out, I got a chance to see Pavement live outside of Portland. I have to say it was the best concert I have ever been to. I wish I could go Sunday and see them again in Seattle.
Wow, what an amazing idea. Thank you for the post Scoogs.
YouTube- Radiohead Live - Weird Fishes / Arpeggi (Prague DVD - Radiohead Live in Praha)
I'm extremely pissed... I was supposed to go see Pavement tomorrow and then the Thermals on the 9th in Portland, but my friend decided to go to Hawaii and I don't want to drive the three hours alone....

My nomination is for A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin.
An Education - 8/10 solid film with a great cast. It had some good moments and the acting was excellent.
I love them both, but I think IT is the better book.
IT all the way!
Has anyone read any of Cronin's other works? I also feel (I'm around page 105) that this book draws the reader in so naturally.
Killers - 3.5/10
Get Him to the Greek - 7/10
Shutter Island (2nd viewing) - 10/10
I actually didn't think Carrie was bad. I really enjoyed the last 80 or so pages.
I just started it and made it to about page 19. I'm really excited to see where he goes with it. I'm also excited to read a book that is compared to the Stand in epicness.
Juno - 9/10
I really love Jason's style in this film. Still doesn't quite manage to be as good as Up In The Air, but enjoyable all the same.

Charade - 7.5/10
Breakfast at Tiffany's - 10/10
One of my new favorite films. I loved it. :excited:
Oh Bev! Do tell me how it is, will you? it's the next book I'm going to read after Carrie.
The Road - 9/10
I felt like they did a very good job of sticking to the source novel by McCarthy. Great film, very strong visually.
Yes this is my first reading of Carrie. So far it's pretty entertaining.
