I am watching the teaser movie for 28 weeks later called 28 days later and I am waiting on it to stop sucking.
you mean the teaser for the sequel to 28 days later called 28 weeks later? :P
Yeah its not firected by Boyle and Cillian isnt in it so im dubious.
The plot is total fluff!
Yer, it looks pretty disappointing.
I haven't seen much of anything on 28 Weeks. Cillian's not in it? Pfffffft. Did they carry any of the characters over?
Its funny because all the previews show that guy and he's not even in the movie. Its like they want you to remember how cool it was.
Yeah, pretty much gotta see it.
We can all complain as much as we want, but in the end, we'll all end up watching this movie. I know I am. :)
Oh yeah, me too. But I won't go to the theater, I like to do something like this at home so I can mute the gross parts for Dora.
A mod should change the title of this thread. Just sayin. ;)
I might rent it, but I'm not seeing it in the theater.
I REALLY want to see this.. I got the prequel graphic novel and it was pretty interesting.. I can't wait to see how they tie it into the movie.
ooh, graphic novel?
do tell...
Seriously...that is something I would love to see.
I love zombie movies but, I this doesn't look like anything special to me. I'll just wait till my roommate buys the DVD and then maybe I'll watch it.
When was it cool? How popular was this movie that it required a sequel? I remember watching it and thinking, "ok, this must be when it gets really good" and being dissapointed everytime. Resident Evil might have been dissapointing crap but it was TONS better than this shit. Even Shawn of the Dead was better than this shit as a serious movie, and as a comedy, it rocked my socks.
I heart Shaun of the Dead. I neeeed to see Hot Fuzz.
Shaun of the Dead is my favorite zombie movie.
I did think 28 days was cool because of the idea itself. They really wanted to eat you, know way to know if it was the whole world, the guy was such an anti-hero.
I liked Children of Men for the same reasons.
Yeah, I thought 28 Days Later was fun. It was predictable in the "oh, there's a big window, an infected's gonna crash through it" sort of way, but it was still entertaining to watch. I don't like many horror flicks for that very reason, but that one transcended it in some inexplicable way.
Shaun of the Dead was just hilarious. I love British humor.
Exactly. I felt the same way about Cell.
The second time through, when I wasn't chomping at the bit to find out what happened to his boy, it ended up with a lot of interesting aspects.
And I am the same, I don't really do the whole "Dawn of the Dead" and other movies like that. Sometimes the gross out factor is too high. :arg:
I have actually never seen it :o
The only zombie movies I have seen are the two mentioned in this thread.
