Just popped up on ebay, an Italian version of THE RUNNING MAN, published in 1984 (so with no mention of King being Bachman):

Nice looking copies. And cheap. And gone !
I don't like that cover, but I like the idea behind this spanish edition of "Gerald's Game"

Actually, it's Dolores Claiborne :)
I don't know if this one has already been posted on this forum. [emoji848]
I have this dutch limited edition hardcover of The Shining made by the dutch publisher Luitingh-Sijthoff (published around King's 70th birthday) .
It's limited to 750 copies , that was good enough for me when i bought it.
It's not a numbered/signed edition as expected but at the top of the copyright page it says "this edition of the Shining has been published in a limited edition of 750 copies."
I normally don't read novels in my native language.
The excellent artwork on the dustjacket was made by the polish artist Krzysztof Domaradzki, no artwork inside the book itself. Only the text.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d5393bba18.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9226550e31.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...98716da390.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c79ecfba26.jpg

WOW!!! One of the best SK covers ever!!!!!
Does anyone, here, speaks finnish. Or is from Finland?
I've been asked by a fan if there are any King books in "selkokirjat", which, I am told, is basically a simplified finnish
Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of foreign editions have the better covers?
Cause they do

I speak and understand Italian but have a hard time reading it. My wife is from Italy and though she's completely bilingual (her English is far superior to my Italian) she also finds it more difficult to read in English. She's not a big King fan, but mainly she doesn't like to read him in English.Quote:
