ELLISON UNDER GLASS, letter 'A' from the recent Charnel House letter A copies sale, this one with Robin Williams in the photo.
I went back to check on COFFIN NAILS but it was sold, eliciting a sigh of relief from me as I didn't really want to spend that much more money.

A uh, uhm, er, ahhh, friend of mine, yeah, that's it! A friend of mine who has more cents than sense bought this book and asked me to take a picture of it, yup, that's what happened all right!
A mis-aligned printing cover, not very well packed by the seller (or so my friend told me anyway, phew!)

My piece of resistance for the day, an EXTREMELY nice copy of THE CAVES OF STEEL, and when my inheritors see the receipt I stuck inside the front cover, they're going to produce a building stone in a most unseemly manner:

Supernice new books....
Think a signed MARY & O'NEIL is missing in my JC collection and
unfortunately there is no The Ferryman promo tour this year. :-(
Yep, the Cronin caught my eye also, very nice.
This has quickly become my daily go to page. Amazing stuff
Thanks Frank, Garrell and Dave.
I purchased some Underwood/Miller paperwork nearly 5 years ago, and FINALLY have arranged it into a semblance of order, bagged and labeled for a future historian to shrug and toss it into the incinerator.
This is the King material, which includes litigations, letters, author's payments, etc., etc., some of it making for interesting reading, now loosely in chronological order:

There is more, in the form of post cards, dust jackets, photographic negatives, etc., most of which I've previously posted.
