Watched Stand By Me on Blu-Ray last night, it looks great! After having just re-listened to The Body I think this is one of the best adaptations of an SK book, lots of dialogue straight from the text. Wish there were more like that.

Kino Lorber have revealed that they are preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Fraser C. Heston's Needful Things (1993), starring Max von Sydow, Ed Harris, Bonnie Bedelia, Amanda Plummer, and J.T. Walsh. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Synopsis: When a creepy older man named Leland Gaunt (Max von Sydow) moves to a small town in Maine and sets up an antique shop, bad things soon follow. Gaunt has the remarkable ability of selling people exactly what they want most, but his ideal purchases come at a price that involves more than just money. Through Gaunt's manipulation, the citizens of the town gradually turn on one another, resulting in violence that Sheriff Alan Pangborn (Ed Harris) struggles to contain. NEW 4K RESTORATION FROM THE ORIGINAL CAMERA NEGATIVE AND DOLBY VISION/HDR GRADE.
According to the comments, "The extended TV version will also be included, mastered in 2K on an included, separate Blu-ray Disc".
Is this the first time the extended edition will be available?
It was apparently on the German Blu-ray but that was region-B locked.
And then after in a french version
But, commercialised in the US? Yes, first time
Minus the extra goodies.

So, "Chapelwaite" is only available on streaming in the USA (Epix) and Europe (Amazon Prime Video), but did you know there is a bluray & dvd version in Australia?
And, to be confirmed, but a website says that it's zone free !

Something funny IMO about prefacing King's name with 'American writer'.

Creepshow 4K Blu-ray
Masters of the macabre writer Stephen King and director George A. Romero conjure up five shocking yarns, each a virtuoso exercise in the ghouls-and-gags style of classic '50s horror comics. A murdered man emerges from the grave for Father's Day cake. A meteor's ooze makes everything ... grow. A professor selects his wife as a snack for a crated creature. A scheming husband plants two lovers up to their necks in terror. A malevolent millionaire with an insect phobia becomes the prey of a cockroach army. Add the spirited performances of an excellent cast (Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, Leslie Nielsen, Ted Danson, E.G. Marshall and King himself) and the ghoulish makeup wizardry of Tom Savini, and you have a non-stop, thrilling ride that "plays like an anthology of human phobias" (Roger Ebert)!
