Grandpa: The eel doesn't get her. I'm explaining to to because you look nervous.
The Grandson: I wasn't nervous. Maybe I was a little bit "concerned" but that's not the same thing.
Inconceivable!
You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.
No one would surrender to the Dread Pirate Westley.

Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
Don't be so hard on yourself. You've been mostly dead all day.
Princess Bride
:shoot:
Good lord how does The Princess Bride keep winning this stuff? Do we have a contingent of 11 year olds voting?
It never ceases to amaze me how The Princess Bride is so wildly popular among people who grew up in the 80's. That film really struck a cord with its fans.
It's funny because I love the film, but my twin sister absolutely despises it. Twins are supposed to be similar, but we are so different in so many ways. It's amazing.
All that being said: I voted for Godfather II.
"I'm smart, I can do stuff. Not like everybody says."
I have to say, I never knew The Princess Bride was such a popular film. I honestly wasn't even expecting it to move past the first round.
I think it's one of the funniest and most well-performed comedic films of all time, and I grew up in the 70's. Well, it depends how we define "grew up". I turned 10 in 1980, so I grew up in the 70's and 80's I suppose. Either way, The Princess Bride is an amazingly funny film and one I gladly watch over and over again.
"I'll make you an offer you can't refuse."
I went with The Godfather II because, well, have you seen it? It's the freaking Godfather II and it's awesome...The script, the story, the directing, the acting, Deniro, Pacino, Duvall, Coppola! It very well may be my favorite movie.. ever.
...that being said - I absolutely love The Princess Bride. It's got one of the best scripts, ever. And the acting, by everyone, is just on the money. The direction is dead on. I'm not surprised it's doing so well, not at all.
Godfather defiantly:cool:
The Princess Bride advances.
Michael will be crushed.
