Jaws! Not just a great monster movie, but one of the all time great moves!
Night of the Living Dead, it's a classic.
OK people, you have to vote JAWS!!!!
Consider the following...
1. John Williams's iconic score.
2. The head in the boat scene.
3. Robert Shaw's USS Indianapolis speech.
4. Richard Dreyfuss's underwater steel cage scene with the shark.
Absolutely classic scenes that made Jaws one of the most iconic and indeed, scariest films ever!
It should be noted that between the 3 films in this tiebreaker, only JAWS was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry, having been deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."
Therefore the votes have to go to JAWS!!!!
Night of the Living Dead
Went with Dracula.
This is a tight race.
I love Jaws... But Gary Oldman is stellar as Dracula
I absolutely "LOVE", Jaws as well, but you folks understand why I would never vote for it here. I went with NoTLD, which scared the bejesus out of me when it came out. I couldn't even watch it again for like 20 years!!!
I love Jaws!
But voted Bram Stoker's Dracula. Why? Because if I had a Friday night to kill and wanted to sit back and catch a flick, Dracula would win out over Jaws more often than not.
*bump
Let's get those votes in!
With less than an hour to go looks like the Dead will be Living a little longer.
NotLD.
